A month of posting videos & I’m finally getting feedback from friends. This is good. This is perfect. Actually, the timing couldn’t be better.
Lighting is still my biggest issue… of course. Can’t seem to quite figure that one out. Also fighting with my GoPro camera doesn’t help.
Ultimately though, I’m trying to find a way to present the videos & keep them interesting. I don’t think me sitting in front of the camera & ranting at you every week is going to stay interesting. I also don’t think watching me in high speed assembling ingredients is particularly jaw dropping either. Some how, I need to find the way to combine the two. A little ranting, a little showing. & still manage to keep it all interesting.
Oh, & under five minutes.
Yea, I know, that’s a weird time constriction I’m putting on myself, but I really do have a short attention span & i really do believe that ultimately, we live in a society where everything happens instantaneously, so if I’m being realistic, no one wants to sit down for more than five minute intervals.
So I’m trying a couple things out tonight. Being a little creative. Still don’t have a clue what I’m doing when it comes to this software, but I’m trying. That’s all a person can ask for, right?
The good news is, one of the people giving me feedback is my friend Eirini. For those of you who’ve been following the blog for several years, you know she’s a dear friend I adore from when I lived in Syros, & we used to be partners in crime in the baking world. I am actually planning on taking a trip out there over the next couple weeks to see her & hopefully (HOPEFULLY), make a video with her. WE SHALL SEE!
Any way, back to the editing board. xxx
